Figs: Fruit that are bell shaped. Figs come in a wide variety of colors: brown, purple, green yellow or black. The sizes vary but always the same leathery wrinkled skin. Fruit is grown on a shrub or small tree grown from Greece to Pakistan can also be grown any where with a similar climate like California or Oregon.

Picking the fruit directly from the tree can cause irritation to your skin because of the sap. The fig tree is deciduous and can grow up to 30 feet high. There are over 600 types of figs.
